Education
Save the Children Mexico carries out non-traditional educational programs with children in the following areas: health, hygiene, nutrition, exploitation, child labor, arts and culture and violence prevention. The topics are covered in ways relevant to each age group and specific to the regions and physical spaces where the programs take place.
With whom and where do we work?
- With children from 2-6 years of age, through early child development programs in Child Development Centers (CDCs).
- With children from 7-12 years of age in community centers, schools and youth centers.
- With adolescents from 13-16 years of age in workshops in schools.
Programs are carried out in spaces where children learn to be, to coexist, to do and to learn in an environment of respect, liberty and solidarity (human development).
