Violence

The principal problem facing children from their perspective, both in the present and in their vision of their futures is violence.      

A cycle of violence is reinforced by cultural patterns, marginalization, abuse of power, and becomes more pronounced in situations of political and economic vulnerability.  The effects are mistreatment, physical attacks, insults, sexual violence and in extreme cases, economic exploitation and human trafficking.
  
Due to this, currently, the most important agenda for Save the Children Mexico is the prevention of violence, mistreatment and abuse.
